Hillary shuts down Republican who thinks it’s fine to fire someone for being gay

Hillary Clinton has hit out as a Republican Presidential candidate who claimed that there is no need for laws outlawing homophobic workplace discrimination.

Libertarian Republican Rand Paul candidate was asked at a campaign event this week whether he believes an employer should be able to fire people for being gay or trans.

He responded: “I think really the things you do in your house, if you could just leave those in your house, they wouldn’t have to be part of the workplace, to tell you the truth.

He claimed of outlawing workplace: “What happens is it sets up a whole industry for people who want to sue. So if you happen to be gay, and you get fired… now you have a reason you can sue them.

“I don’t know that we need to keep adding to different classifications to say the government needs to be involved in the hiring and firing.”
