World AIDS Day x gayhealth.sg

World AIDS Day is held on the 1st December each year and is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died. World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day, held for the first time in 1988.

Gayhealth.sg held an event to commemorate this day on December 5th, with the help from Taboo Club, OUTBar and Tantric Bar to utilize their venue . The Mobile Testing Vehicle was present on the day itself to provide free testing for the community too.

I will like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Addie Low from Taboo, Mr Elvin Poh from OUTBar, Mr Alfred Tang and Mr Roy Chow from Tantric and appreciate for the passion you guys have to make this event a meaningful one.

In addition I would like to thank the performers, Noristar, Sammi Zhen, Vandamissjoaquim, Laylaonfire for the great performance done at Taboo Club, OUTBar and Tantric Bar respectively: The volunteers who had put in effort to encourage people to go for testing and to raise awareness as well.

Stay tune for any further upcoming events and free testing available for the community.

Signing off,

Alex.
